Best Coffee Shops at 30A: A Local's Guide to the Must-Visit Spots
One of my favorite things about living and working along Scenic Highway 30A is the coffee culture. Whether you need a quiet morning cup before the beach crowds arrive or a midday pick-me-up between showings, these spots deliver. Here are my personal must-visits, organized by neighborhood so you can find one wherever you are on 30A.
Salty Bottle
Salty Bottle is not technically on 30A, but it is just over the bridge heading toward Panama City Beach and absolutely worth the short detour. A cozy, laid-back spot with great coffee and a relaxed local vibe. None of the tourist rush, all of the good stuff. If you are in the area, make the trip.
Amavida Coffee
Amavida is one of the most beloved coffee shops at 30A and for good reason. They roast their own beans with a focus on sustainable sourcing and ethical trade. The Rosemary Beach location has a cool, distinctive aesthetic that fits right into the neighborhood's character. The pastries are exceptional and brought in by Perla Bakery, which is also owned by the Amavida team, so the quality is consistent and intentional. The Seaside location puts you right in the heart of 30A's most iconic town center. Either way, the espresso is exceptional.

Fonville Press
Fonville Press is an Alys Beach institution. Part coffee bar, part market, part gathering place, it is the kind of spot you wander into for a latte and end up staying for an hour. The design is as stunning as the neighborhood itself. On Friday evenings when the weather is nice, my daughter Aubrey Jane frequently plays here, which makes it one of my personal favorite spots on all of 30A. A must whether you are exploring Alys Beach real estate or just looking for a perfect afternoon stop.

Beachy Bean
Beachy Bean goes well beyond coffee. They serve Amavida coffee, offer breakfast and lunch items, and in the afternoons you can even grab a beer or glass of wine. It is a friendly, welcoming spot with a genuine neighborhood feel. Seagrove has a devoted local following, and Beachy Bean is a big part of why. A great stop any time of day.

Black Bear Bread Co.
Black Bear is iconic on 30A and always popular, and once you visit you will understand why. They bake their own bread and pastries in house, and the quality shows in every bite. It is the kind of place that draws a line out the door on busy mornings and earns every bit of it. Go early for the best selection. Both the Seaside and Grayton Beach locations have their own distinct energy and both are worth a visit.

Blue Mountain Bakery
Blue Mountain Bakery is a beloved neighborhood gem tucked into Blue Mountain Beach, one of the quieter and more residential stretches of 30A. Known for their fresh-baked goods and relaxed atmosphere, it is exactly the kind of place that keeps locals coming back. If you have not made it to this part of 30A yet, this bakery is a great reason to explore.
Raw and Juicy
If you want something a little different alongside your coffee, Raw and Juicy is the spot. Think cold-pressed juices, smoothies, acai bowls, and clean-eating options alongside their coffee menu. Popular with health-conscious visitors and locals alike. Both locations are well worth a stop.
Stock and Brew
Stock and Brew is one of the more under-the-radar spots on this list and one I find myself returning to often. There is plenty of room to spread out and get work done, which makes it a personal favorite on busy days. Beyond coffee they have great baked items, smoothies, and lunch sandwiches worth trying. It is also connected to Stock and Trade, a furniture store, so you can browse some beautiful pieces while you wait for your order. A genuinely great find just off the main 30A corridor.

The bottom line
The coffee shops at 30A are as much a part of the lifestyle as the white sand beaches. Each spot has its own personality, and together they reflect what makes this stretch of coastline so special: independent, design-forward, and deeply community-rooted.
Whether you are visiting for a week or thinking about putting down roots here, these are the spots I send every client to. Coffee first, then we find you a home.
